We recommend booking accommodation in Poreč or Tar, especially if you'd like to combine the wedding with a seaside weekend and take advantage of our organized shuttle bus. For those wanting to stay closer to the venue in central Istria, there are lovely holiday homes and apartments around Žminj, Kanfanar, and Svetvinčenat.
OPG Paladnjaki is located in central Istria near Žminj. Take the Istarski ipsilon (A8/A9) motorway to the Žminj exit, from where the venue is just a 5–7 minute drive. From Zagreb, it's roughly a 2-hour-15-minute drive via Rijeka and the Učka tunnel. You can follow „OPG Paladnjaki” directly on Google Maps.
Everything takes place in one place at Paladnjaki! Guest arrival starts at 4:30 PM with welcome drinks and Istrian delicacies, followed by the outdoor ceremony, dinner reception, and party all on the estate.
Yes! We will run a shuttle bus from Poreč to the venue before the ceremony and back after the party. The exact pickup spot in Poreč and timetable will be shared with you closer to the wedding date.
Yes, the venue provides spacious and free parking for all guests. We want everyone to celebrate with ease — if your plans change and you have a few drinks, please leave your car safely at the estate overnight and pick it up the next day.
We would love for everyone to feel elegant and comfortable. Think garden-party elegance with light fabrics and warm tones. The celebration takes place on lawn and courtyard stone, so ladies may find block heels, wedges, or dressy flats most comfortable. In central Istria it can cool down at night, so having a light layer is a good idea.
